Dock Levelers for Container Loading Docks in Thailand

OZ dock levelers bridge the gap between your loading dock and the truck bed, giving forklifts and pallet jacks a safe, smooth transition. The standard size is matched to 20 ft and 40 ft containers, and every leveler can be built to your dock.

Standard for container trucks: hydraulic dock leveler, deck 2,000 × 2,500 mm, lip 400 mm, 8 T dynamic / 10 T static, working range -300 / +400 mm. Custom sizes available.

Standard Dock Leveler Size for Container Trucks in Thailand

A 2,000 mm wide deck enters the 2,340 mm door opening of a 20 ft or 40 ft container with about 170 mm clearance on each side, and the 400 mm lip lands on the container floor. The 2,500 mm deck length and -300 / +400 mm working range cover the height difference between the dock and the trailer bed.

Hydraulic Dock Leveler

The standard choice for high-volume docks: 8 T, 10 T or 13 T, deck length up to 3,000 mm, load-holding safety valve, speed control valve and full foot guard as standard.

Telescoping Dock Leveler

The lip extends up to 1,000 mm to reach each truck exactly. It needs no extra space at the door line, so the overhead door can close fully — ideal for cold chain.

Air Bag Dock Leveler

The deck is raised by an air bag and blower instead of hydraulic cylinders — clean, quiet and cushioned.

Vertical Dock Leveler

Stores upright behind or in front of the door, keeping the pit clean and dust-free.

Baffle Hydraulic Dock Leveler

A raised baffle stops forklifts from running off the dock edge when no truck is present.

Mechanical Dock Leveler

Manual operation for docks without a power supply.

X-Lift Scissor Platform

Scissor lifting platform customized by capacity, platform size, stroke, pit size, guardrail and lip.

Edge of Dock Leveler

Mounts on the dock face with integrated bumpers — no pit required. Manual or hydraulic, 3 T, for small height differences.

Complete the bay with a dock shelter or dock seal and an insulated overhead door.

How a Complete Loading Bay Works

  1. The overhead door opens when the truck is in position.
  2. The dock shelter or seal closes around the truck body to block air, heat and dust.
  3. The dock leveler lifts, extends its lip onto the container floor and follows the truck as it is loaded.
  4. Accessories — bumpers, guide rails, signal lights, dock lights and vehicle restraints — keep the truck aligned and the bay safe.

OZ DOOR supplies the whole bay: dock leveler, dock shelter and insulated overhead door, installed and serviced by our own team — typically 1–2 days per dock position, with a 2-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size dock leveler do I need for container trucks?

For 20 ft and 40 ft container trailers, OZ recommends the standard 2,000 × 2,500 mm hydraulic leveler with a 400 mm lip. Choose a 3,000 mm deck when the height difference between dock and truck is large, for a gentler slope.

Which capacity should I choose — 8 T, 10 T or 13 T?

8 T dynamic load (10 T static) suits most forklift loading. Choose 10 T (13 T static) or 13 T (17 T static) for heavy forklifts, heavy pallets or very frequent cycles.

What is the working range of an OZ dock leveler?

Pit-type levelers work from -300 mm to +400 mm relative to the dock. Edge-of-dock levelers cover -150 mm to +180 mm for small height differences.

Do I need a pit?

Hydraulic, telescoping, air bag, vertical, baffle and mechanical levelers are installed in a concrete pit (embedded or suspended type). The edge-of-dock leveler needs no pit.

Which leveler works without electricity?

The mechanical dock leveler and the manual edge-of-dock leveler need no power supply.

Can the size be customized?

Yes. Deck length, width, capacity, pit size and color are made to order. Tell us your dock height and truck types and we will specify the leveler.
