This approach has the advantage of eliminating the need for a motor guide track in the middle, but manually turning the connected chain of the motor is required when operated manually. Used hydraulically when the door is very large or heavy. This is mostly applied to one-piece types and forms a large canopy in front of the door.

Counterbalance System
Because the weight of the door is heavy, lifting it with the power of the motor alone is a lot of pressure, and if there is no counter balance system, manual opening and closing by human hands is almost impossible. Therefore, the counter balance system is mandatory for garage doors.
Torsion spring
It is located on the top of the door and provides a force to the door. This method requires a little more space than the tensile spring method at the top, but its durability and stability are stronger than the tensile spring method.
Extension spring
The extension spring method is located on the guide track of the door or on the frame. This approach has the advantage of being able to install the door with only a very narrow upper space, but its durability and stability are weaker than the torsional spring method, so it is not used much recently.
Counter Weights
