Flush Mount Garage Door — The Invisible Door

When Closed, It Disappears. Your Façade Stays Unbroken.

The OZ Door Flush Mount Garage Door integrates seamlessly with your home’s exterior wall. The door panels are clad with the same material as your façade — when closed, the door is virtually invisible. Behind the custom finish, insulated steel panels and SOMMER Germany motors deliver the same reliable performance as our Standard system.

  • Invisible integration: Door disappears into wall when closed
  • Custom cladding: Matches your home’s exterior finish exactly
  • Insulated core: 40mm PU-insulated panels behind the cladding
  • SOMMER Germany motor: Whisper-quiet, reliable operation

How It Works

The Flush Mount system uses standard insulated panels as the structural core, with custom cladding applied to the exterior surface.

Closed: Invisible

When the door is closed, only the cladding is visible. The door lines blend with the wall, creating an unbroken façade. Visitors often can’t tell where the door is.

Opening: Sectional Reveal

As the door opens, the sectional panels fold upward along the ceiling track. The cladding material bends at each panel joint, revealing the hidden entrance.

Open: Full Access

Fully open, the door stacks neatly under the ceiling. The cladding faces down, so only the insulated panel backing is visible from inside the garage.

Cladding Options

You have two choices for your Flush Mount door finish:

Option 1: Customer-Supplied Material

Perfect match guaranteed. Provide the same material used on your home’s exterior wall. Our team applies it to the door panels, ensuring seamless integration.

  • Wood planks (teak, oak, composite)
  • Fiber cement boards
  • Metal cladding (aluminum, zinc, copper)
  • Stone veneer / brick slips
  • HPL panels
  • Any material your architect specifies

Option 2: Thai Market Standard Materials

Ready-to-use options. If you don’t have a specific material requirement, we offer cladding from materials commonly available in the Thai market:

  • Aluminum composite panels (ACP)
  • Powder-coated steel sheets
  • Galvanized steel with wood-grain film
  • Fiber cement (SCG, Shera, etc.)
  • PVC composite boards

Note: Cladding material weight affects spring calculation and overall door performance. Heavier materials may require upgraded motor and hardware specifications.

Project Process

Flush Mount doors require more coordination than standard installations. Here’s how we work:

1. Site Survey

We measure the opening, assess the wall structure, and document your existing façade materials. Photos and samples help us understand the finish you need.

2. Material Coordination

You provide the cladding material (or select from our Thai market options). We calculate the total door weight and specify springs, motor, and hardware accordingly.

3. Manufacturing

Insulated panels are fabricated and cladding is applied in our facility. Springs are wound to exact specifications. Quality check before delivery.

4. Installation

Our technicians install the door, align panels for seamless appearance, and fine-tune spring tension. Final adjustment ensures silent, smooth operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between Flush Mount and Standard garage doors?

Standard doors have a visible steel panel finish (white, woodgrain, or dark). Flush Mount doors use custom cladding applied over the same insulated core panels, allowing the door to match your wall and become nearly invisible when closed. The core structure, motor, and safety system are the same — the main difference is the exterior finish and engineering for cladding weight.

Can any material be used as cladding?

Most materials can be applied, but they must be flexible enough at panel joints during operation. Thin stone veneer, wood planks, metal sheets, ACP, and composite boards typically work well. Very rigid or heavy materials may require alternative solutions. Our team will assess your chosen material and confirm feasibility.

What is the maximum size for a Flush Mount garage door?

Cladding adds weight to each panel, so size limits depend on total door weight and safety. The typical maximum is W 6000mm × H 4000mm with custom-calculated springs and suitable SOMMER motor selection. Larger openings may be possible with upgraded commercial systems — contact us for consultation.

Do I need to provide extra material for waste and cutting?

Yes. We recommend providing 15–20% extra material to account for cutting, alignment, and adjustments during installation. The final quantity is confirmed after site survey.

How long does a Flush Mount project take?

Flush Mount projects take longer than Standard doors due to material coordination and custom engineering. Typical timeline: 2–3 weeks for manufacturing after cladding material is received, plus 1–2 days for installation. Total time depends on your material procurement and site readiness.

Is insulation performance affected by the cladding?

The core 40mm PU-insulated steel panel provides the main thermal and sound insulation. Cladding may add minor extra insulation depending on the material, but the core panel is the primary insulation layer.
