Industrial Sliding Door
Interior Sliding Doors for Factories, Cleanrooms & Cold Storage
The OZ Door Industrial Sliding Door provides smooth, space-saving access for factory interiors, cleanrooms, cold storage facilities, and warehouse partitions. Horizontal sliding operation eliminates swing clearance requirements while insulated sandwich panels maintain temperature and cleanliness.
- Space-saving: Slides horizontally, no swing clearance needed
- Insulated panels: 40-50mm sandwich panels for temperature control
- Single or double leaf: Bi-parting option for wide openings
- Manual or automatic: Sensor, button, or remote operation
Premium Features & Technology
Insulated Sandwich Panels
40-50mm PU Core
Steel or aluminum skin with polyurethane foam core. Excellent thermal insulation for cold storage and climate-controlled areas. Available with or without vision windows.
Vision Windows
Safety & Visibility
Double-glazed windows for visibility and safety. See approaching traffic before opening. Various sizes and positions available to match your requirements.
Top-Mounted Rail & Automatic Operator
Smooth, Quiet & Fully Automated Operation
Top-mounted aluminum rail with enclosed track design ensures smooth, low-noise operation. High-efficiency DC motor supports multiple activation options, with adjustable speed and hold-open time.
Safety Features
EN 16005 Compliant
Photobeam sensors detect obstacles. Safety edges stop door on contact. Warning lights and audible signals alert personnel during operation.
Door Configurations
Single Leaf
One door slides to one side. Ideal for smaller openings up to 2000mm. Requires wall space on one side equal to door width for the door to slide into.
Best for: Personnel doors, equipment rooms, smaller passages.
Double Leaf (Bi-Parting)
Two doors meet in center, slide apart to both sides. For wider openings up to 4000mm. Faster opening as each leaf travels half the distance.
Best for: Forklift passages, production lines, main access points.

Where to Use Industrial Sliding Doors
Factory Interiors
Partition between production areas. Separate clean and dirty zones. Control dust, noise, and temperature between departments.
Cleanrooms
Pharmaceutical, electronics, and food production. Air-tight sealing options maintain cleanroom classifications. Flush surfaces for easy cleaning.
Cold Storage
Refrigerated warehouses, freezer rooms. Insulated panels prevent thermal bridging. Quick operation minimizes cold air loss.
Warehouse Partitions
Divide large spaces into zones. Forklift-compatible openings. Secure storage areas with access control integration.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between industrial sliding doors and sectional overhead doors?
Industrial sliding doors move horizontally along a wall — they slide left or right. Sectional overhead doors move vertically — they lift up and run along the ceiling. Sliding doors are better for interior partitions and where ceiling space is limited. Overhead doors are better for external openings like loading docks.
Can these doors be used for cleanroom applications?
Yes. We offer cleanroom-rated versions with flush panel surfaces for easy cleaning, stainless steel frames, and optional inflatable seals for air-tight closure. These doors can maintain cleanroom pressure differentials and meet various ISO cleanliness classifications.
How much wall space do I need beside the door?
For a single leaf door, you need wall space equal to the door width. For bi-parting (double leaf) doors, you need half the opening width on each side. Telescopic configurations can reduce this requirement. We’ll assess your space during the site survey.
Can the door be interlocked with other systems?
Yes. We can integrate the door with air showers, other doors (for airlock sequences), fire alarm systems, and building management systems. The controller supports multiple input/output connections for complex automation requirements.
Is the door suitable for cold storage / freezer rooms?
Yes. We offer 50mm thick panels with enhanced insulation for cold storage applications. Combined with proper sealing, these doors minimize thermal bridging and cold air loss. For freezer applications below -20°C, we recommend heated frames to prevent ice buildup.
What activation method is best for forklift traffic?
Pull cord activation is most common for forklift areas — the driver pulls a hanging cord without leaving the vehicle. Alternatively, radar sensors can detect approaching forklifts, or inductive floor loops can trigger the door when a vehicle passes over.
